Therapy for Teens

Support for the Challenges of Growing Up
Adolescence is filled with emotional, social, and academic pressures. I work with teens to navigate anxiety, identity, friendships, and self-image, empowering them with tools to thrive with greater confidence and clarity.
💬 Understanding and managing anxiety — whether it shows up as overthinking, perfectionism, social stress, or school-related overwhelm. 🔍 Exploring identity and self-image, especially during times of change or self-doubt. 💔 Navigating friendships and peer dynamics, including boundary-setting, communication struggles, and feeling left out. 📚 Coping with academic and extracurricular pressure and the fear of falling behind or not being “good enough.” 📱 Balancing social media and mental health, and learning to tune out comparisons and tune in to their own values. 🌧️ Processing sadness, low motivation, or emotional numbness, which may be signs of early depression or burnout. 🧠Challenging negative self-talk and learning to treat themselves with more compassion and resilience. 🛠️ Building healthy coping strategies—like journaling, mindfulness, emotional regulation skills, and assertive communication. 🌱 Developing a stronger sense of self and direction, so they feel more grounded and hopeful about their future. Therapy gives teens a place to pause, reflect, and grow—so they can move through adolescence with more tools, more confidence, and a deeper connection to who they are becoming.
